Michael Tyrell's poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Agni, American Letters & Commentary, The New England Review, The Paris Review, Ploughshares, The Yale Review, and other magazines. He wants his epitaph to say something simultaneously meaningful, unanswerable, and hilarious. He lives in Bushwick, but dreams of living in Williamsburg someday.
